Lakota Funds would like to offer our sincerest gratitude to Diane Sawyer and ABC for raising awareness of the issues our Reservation residents face during their feature, "A Hidden America: Children of the Plains," that aired Friday, October 14, 2011. We are especially grateful for the influx of donations we have received as a result of the show, and will be using these funds for our Individual Development Account and Child Development Account programs. These programs help our Tribal members to develop personal financial management skills and achieve financial goals that otherwise would be unattainable.
